Upgrade PC - what then?

So by March 2021 I will have approximately 600 euro that I can spend. Maybe more, then I'll ask a question again. So I would like to upgrade my PC. What would you upgrade with the 600 euro?

Azza Inferno 310

MSI Z390-A Pro (I've only been there for 2 months)

Intel Core i5 8400

LCPOWER 120mm RGB CPU cooler

128GB Kingston nvme SSD

1TB TOSHIBA HDD

8GB Kingston 2666 MHz RAM in single channel

Zotac GeForce GTX 1050 2GB

LCPOWER 600W power supply (had to fetch little money)

I definitely want to change the GPU. Use the PC to gamble and record and stuff. GTA 5, Fortnite and ROBLOX as well as Minecraft I just play. How would you upgrade?

Er

Definitely another 8GB Ram, preferably two 8GB 3,200 or 3,600Mhz RAM, which would be much better than your old Ram. If you want to keep the old one, you need 8GB 2.666 MHz Ram again.

Another or larger SSD would also be recommended.

And then a better GPU, I would wait for the new NVIDIA and Amd Gpus.

Un

What GPU and RAM would you take?

Al

I would upgrade the gpu and RAM.

if you already have ddr4 RAM then buy another 8gb bar, or buy new depends on how much you want to spend on it.

Un

Yes I have 600 euro available. Would the CPU also upgrade. What would you recommend?

Sn

Graphics card and ram.

But it is difficult to predict a whole year.

Al

Maybe wait or a gtx 1660ti or rtx 2060 or an amd gpu they are a little cheaper (I have to say I'm not very familiar with graphics cards).

Er

With the GPUs you have to see how expensive they are. I would take one from the lower Rtx 3000 range, but it won't be released until the end of the year.

You can take the ram from any manufacturer (e.g. Gskill), the main thing is a 2 × 8GB kit with 3,200 or 3,600 MHz, is not that expensive.

Un

What would you take

Un

Ui RTX 2060 and GTA 5, this will be fun.

Un

According to Intel, my i5 only supports 2666 MHz.

Sn

8GB RAM, (i.e. On 16GB) and a graphics card. Eg RX 580 or similar. And in any case, a new power supply, not a China beater.

600w for 20e would not be safe…

em

I would upgrade the RAM to 16 GB RAM so 2x3 GB RAM. You will make the GPU and with the budget you will most likely buy the Rtx 2080 ti or just the 2080. If you have more money you could either give your PC more ssd memory or cool your PC better or simply make it nicer, say rgb etc.

Er

Then stay at 2.666 MHz, but definitely go to 16 GB in dual-channel

ce

Rx 5700 or 5700xt, 16gb 3200ram and larger Nvme

Al

Do you mean it in a positive sense? 😂

Un

Yes. 😂

Un

On the nvme is only Windows and a few programs, I have over 70GB free on the HDD are actually games and so, but I can upgrade to a 240GB.
