Do I have a Linux / Ubuntu system?

I was just about to download Minecraft on my new Ubuntu PC. There I can choose between a Debian or Arch version. I have the latest Ubuntu desktop version, what should I download, Debian or Arch?

If you are using the new version of Ubuntu, you can install ".deb".
