Which microphone for recording Lets Plays (Fortnite, Minecraft) and for streaming?

I'm currently looking for a microphone that can be used to record lets plays and role play in Minecraft and Fortnite. It should also make a good impression when streaming. The budget is around 150 euro for the microphone alone. It would also be very helpful to give me a suitable bracket.

Blue's microphones are better known in the YouTube scene. And are moderately great value for money.

it's a streaming or YouTube microphone. Not intended for vocals or instrument recording.

Aloha!

How about a Rode NT-USB? Potentially a Rode Podcaster, too, but that's outrageously expensive right now. Maybe a used Shure SM58 with a cheap interface.

The Shure SM57 is well suited for recording speech in front of the home monitor. It delivers good speech intelligibility without sounding harsh. It is also quite forgivable when it comes to the often poor acoustics in living spaces.

The SM57 is the White House microphone. Every US president since 1965 has used it. With the A2WS windshield, the SM57 looks accordingly and is protected against pop sounds.

The SM57 uses the air-suspended Unidyne III capsule. The microphone is well protected against structure-borne sound transmission and the microphone clamp included in the scope of delivery is usually sufficient.

The microphone alone is of little use to you. You definitely need a USB audio interface if you don't want to buy one of those sad and noisy, non-adjustable USB microphones.

I can recommend the bracket as the Tonor T20. Costs around 25 euro. Tested very well by the tech boss and already has a pop killer with him

You have high quality standards. A bit of noise is probably out of the question. Hence the Steinberg your 12 as the interface. Take a look at the AKG D5 at https://www.thomann.de/...akg_d5.htm as a microphone. The SM 57 from Shure is also welcome. It's just more expensive. Buy a GOOD cable! E.g. Cordial. I have never had stress

De

Would recommend a rode nt or a rode prodcaster

pl

Well And who pays for the interface? Who dampens the room for the nt?

pl

The keyboard clicks on LP. If the fan hisses, the mouse hisses. Is picked up wonderfully by the Yeti because of its large diaphragm microphone. Really suitable?

De

There are usb variants

pl

Clear. Bad to level. Fine residual noise. Room attenuation required USB or xlr.n

De

I have the Rode Prodcaster myself and can only recommend it to go both in the USB and the variant via a mixer is just ideal if the computer comes with it and possibly gets louder, the Prodcaster only picks up in its vicinity if possible pc is not a jet.

De

With most USB micros this is actually the case. Rode does this very well and goes with the Prodcaster clearly in a real streamer it is built to have a clean, pleasant vocal sound and that works very well and is 100% sufficient for streamer The Prodcaster is of course also available with XLR, as I see and also rode as well as elgato for the stream range no application most of the better details are lost through streaming and coding anyway

Fe

I had the Procaster back then, but I clearly prefer the sound of the Shure SM7b.

De

Okay, that's a different league. With just under 500 euro

co

What now? Procaster or Podcaster? These are different microphones with different frequency curves.

"The NT" which NT? The light gray NT-1?

De

Podcaster in the cell phone gladly takes the autocorrection whatever it wants the NT-1 is not available as a USB version! So this can't be meant yes and no that Procaster is with XLR and the Podcaster is with USB so the Procaster is not available as a USB there are no different mics

Rode NT = USB

Rode NT 1A = XLR

Procaster = XLR

Podcaster = USB
