Can I play Rust with these specs?

Since the game is currently very hyped and is being played a lot again, I became aware of Rust, the problem my PC is really very, very bad and I got it for Christmas in 2016 to play Minecraft on it. I have 8GB Ram an Intel Xeon 3565 a GTX 1050 ti and no SSD on Windows 10 Pro. Do you think I can play it? Doesn't have to be on full graphics

Here are the minimum requirements for Rust:

The Xeon is not really a problem, but you would have to reduce the graphics even with FullHD with the 1050ti, but the graphics options are extensive, you should achieve a configuration with playable fps here.

No SSD could actually become a problem. For me, Rust is the only game that has to be installed on an SSD, otherwise the loading times from the map are well over five minutes and the game usually smears off when entering the world. So Rust and HDD, even if it should work reasonably now - I wouldn't want to do that to myself.

Thank you, so do you mean I could get up to 70 FPS? Even if I install it on an HDD? The game appeals to me very strongly, it would be really nice if I could get it to work

Ky

The HDD has no effect on the fps, but on the loading times and, at least for me, whether you can even get to the server.

I last played it with the much more powerful 970 and had to reduce the graphics in order to be able to play at around 60 fps, but I don't know how well the game is on potato graphics.

That means I should upgrade at first right?

Ky

Would at least recommend an SSD, the prices for it are still stable and you can migrate the disk to a new computer.

Then you can see how happy you will be with the 1050ti.

Next up would be the GPU, unless you are happy with the performance.
