Does he have my IP address in Minecraft?

Me and my girlfriend were recently in Minecraft and have played with 2 boys several times and today one of them said that he has our IP address. Now the question is: does he really have it? And if so how should he have got there?

If the boy is the owner of the server, he can see in the logs / console with which IP address you are connected to the server. Otherwise there's no way as a simple player to get your IP address.
