Can villagers spawn in Minecraft (1.8.8)?

Have seen in Skyblock times such a 12x12 house with ten doors on each side. The interior was filled with candles and the house is three blocks high. Four of such houses were set up in a square, and in one of them were loosely 10-15 villagers and one iron golem (the ceiling is made up of half blocks of wood so that it rises 2.5 blocks inside). The ground was just grass. I assume they are spawned, both villagers and Eisengolem, but can that really be?

Villagers have always spawned. You only need one house and believe 16 doors and they spawn.

Incidentally, you have been able to answer your questions yourself. How else should they have got there? Besides, that means torches, not candles!

Sn

No villagers do not just spawn like that. You have to spawn yourself with Spawneiern or Command. On skyblocks there's often the opportunity to get to villagers.

If you have two villagers, they can mate. From a certain number of villagers spawn iron golems. So you can build a simple automatic iron farm.

Sn

No, they do not spawn by themselves.

ph

Oh but.

How about animals on a grassy area? They spawn so no matter on what level or (my island in skyblock is on level 12)?

Sn

In natural villages, yes. Otherwise no.

Sn

At a certain distance, even animals spawn naturally. I mean at least 25 blocks away from the player, but could be more.

Look under extension. They spawn without being pre-generational. He was probably at the coordinates of a theoretical village.

Sn

So you just confirm my statement.
