No.
No dealer sells bamboo, not even the traveling dealer.

Neither normal traders nor the wandering traders with the lamas sell bamboo you can only find it naturally in a bamboo jungle in shipwrecks in the boxes, in jungle temples in the boxes or in the jungle as "garbage" in the water.
What do you mean by shipwrecks, you can't find it in all boxes yet?
No it CAN be in a box in a shipwreck
You can find bamboo in the storage chest of shipwrecks, that is the one in the front of the ship but the probability is only 15.6% you can find 1-2 pieces in it. That means on average every 6th storage box in a shipwreck has bamboo in it
Are these tropical ship wrecks?
Ne ne with shipwrecks it doesn't matter where they are in every shipwreck if it has this storage box in front there can be 15.6% bamboo in it. Only fishing is only possible in the tropics ^^
