Moin, I'm a fan of old versions of Windows. I recently got a laptop with XP and now I want to play Minecraft on it. Do you have any tips to make it run faster and not like that? (Other laptop or other windows are out of the question)
Video games continue to evolve with operating systems and become more sophisticated. Therefore, even with online games such as Minecraft, the support for older operating systems will be discontinued after a certain time.
Old hardware and old firmware are therefore simply no longer suitable for playing newer games. That there arise problems is logical. The only possibility that I see would be a newer operating system, because XP is designed for old games and not for the latest version of Minecraft. Maybe older Miencraft versions run a bit better if you want to try it out.
Little visibility in the game, graphics mode on snow, sky and sun out, Minecraft as much ram as possible and put resolution down
Reduce render distance, disable particles, shadows and clouds, graphics mode Fast.
