Minecraft Switch transferable to laptop?

We once bought Minecraft for the Switch and it all runs through the Microsoft account… Now we asked ourselves whether we - since we bought the original version and it's platform transferable - on the laptop instead of the Can play Switch… We also have the Java Edition but would like to play with friends. Unfortunately we didn't find anything on the internet.

It says here that a code should pop up where it would work, but unfortunately it doesn't. And the page is from 11/11/2020

You have to buy it yourself for each platform.
