Hi, I've had a problem with computer games for some time now. My problem is, even if I of course know that the game characters are only data and so and of course there are no living things, it is still difficult for me e.g. To kill, especially if there are no bad ones so they don't harm me. E.g. In the game minecraft the animals, which do nothing on their own but you have to e.g. Kill to get things like leather.
It's just hard for me and it's not fun, but it's part of a lot of games, and in general I love playing games and stuff, but whenever I have to kill or fight something, it totally spoils my mood. I feel mega bad and guilty especially to bring up the minecraft example again, the animals run away from you fearfully when you hit them, that always breaks my heart, I already do the most cumbersome things in games to get around killing, which teammates then find stupid and cumbersome and I'm afraid that people may no longer want to gamble with me.
So can you somehow train that it doesn't bother you anymore?
Sorry that the question has become so long again, and thank you for every answer.
Well, it's actually quite good that you think that way. ^^
And I understand you
The easiest would of course be to play games where that doesn't happen.
The other solution is simply logic.
You know what it really is and that it can't really harm anyone. ^^
You could "train" in real life
Oh you're cute π But let the others do it for you. Or you imagine these are very bad robots and if you didn't do it the world would go down or something. π
It's against my grain to drive around lanterns at GTA.
But I don't really play either. I have nothing.
It may be that you have to play like this⦠Maybe most of the youngsters are already so hard-boiled that they no longer bother. I think you are great and the others to forget!
Wtf?
As if someone was playing for a game. XD if you look for something like this gameplay xD
In what way?
With Minecraft you play together, because tasks can be distributed, the others can still box the animals and they could do something else. Tha'ts what I meant.
Games don't have much to do with reality, there are also different games. But if you want to convert it to something real, the best example is chess, you basically have to destroy the other's pieces, i.e. Remove them from the field and beat the king to win, it's not that different with these games, who is that? But now it's really great to kill people belongs to the psychologist. For most, it is a reaction, and there are many, many adult gamers.
And it best starts with you. π€£
Um how now? O.o.
Great now she can't even play chess anymore. π
There are also offline games of it and as far as I know you can play it alone, you can connect to everyone via Inet these days, but you still have to play alone, but I don't know Minecraft that well now.
Yes, that's a good idea!
Unfortunately - or should I say "luckily" - I never learned to play chess.
However, she wrote that she is afraid that the others will no longer play with her because she makes everything difficult because she doesn't want to box the animals. So I assumed that she wasn't playing alone. π
Oh, I somehow missed the last sentence.
Show the evil killer robbers disguised as animals. π
Doesn't matter, happens to me all the time. π©
Don't be upset, you can send other players from the field to their base. Lady, you also take figures of the other from the field. Bagamon you can force others to put a piece in the middle. Games are generally built against each other to determine who can play better.
The evil killer robots lol xD and then a rabbit with googly eyes looks at you and suddenly shoots laser beams around the world xD
I can't get anything out of board games either. Sorry But here's the reason for the boredom, while video games really do dislike violence: I started with "Monster AG" at the time. In itself a totally cute game for children. However, you had to hit / edit trash cans to get "life". Back then I was against the grain: I'm not going to break anything!
It is really great if you have a good moral feeling, and I thought myself similar, but video games are just video games, and just have to do with programs, technology, hard drives, operating systems, electronics and so on. In short, it's just data processing like a video that lands on your screen. Harvest Moon e.g. Is rather harmless. And violent games usually have an age limit. ^^
Oh, before that changes, she already broke it. It races through like Rambo. π€£
That was nonsense, disregard. ^^ Over-dramatized morality, or just stupidity. ^^
Maybe it would be a compromise for you (at least with Minecraft) if you paired two others for each cow you have to kill. So if you don't want to kill, it's because of your guilty conscience.
