For several weeks, I always ask myself the question: Are video games getting worse? I've always liked to gamble and my best gaming phase started with the purchase of Cod Modern Warfare 3. I always had something to gamble with, it did not always have to be a shooter… Skyrim, Minecraft, etc. There were so many games that appealed to me. Now after 8 years, I notice so slowly that it is getting worse. I think a big factor is whether you play alone or with other friends. However, this was no longer a problem in the past. I just have the feeling that there are no real games where you can spend day and night. And the hype of fortnite and apex or what the rest means i can understand zero. Are there any games that you should play currently or have I missed something?
Or does someone have the same "problem"?
I can rarely recommend multiplayer. I used to play MMORPGs a lot, but there's nothing decent anymore, to my taste.
I can highly recommend games like Nier Automata, The Last Guardian, TLoZ Breath of the Wild and DMC 5, though. I had fun with Nioh and Bloodborne and Dark Souls, too.
Just grown up. Everything has been there somehow. When you're younger, it's easier to be fascinated. Interests can also change in the course of life.
Current games do not irritate me either. It seems like there are only multiplayer games and they are trying to get you into in-game buying everywhere. In the past you just bought a game, had a finished game and that was good.
I'm one who grew up playing video games. I have already played on the C64. What did I spend time in games like Final Fantasy 7? Maybe it's just my age. And I do not have that much time for stuff like it used to. But when I dig up old games, the fascination quickly seizes me again. I recently played with a friend a few old Amiga 500 games. That was great.
