I bought the Minecraft Java Edition years ago and play it so that I have had it for so long I could get the Bedrock Edition for free. My question is if I do that I can still switch between the Java Edition and the Change Bedrock (or Windows 10) edition?
Yes you can. These are two different games written in a completely different programming language. You will then have two Minecrafts on the desktop ^^
Okay thank you very much
I wouldn't even hollow bedrock? I mean why would you want that? And as far as I know, the bedrock version runs on another client. Well, yes
I wanted to test it, many say it would be good in its own way and wanted to get an idea of it for myself if I don't have to spend any money
Oh so ok. ^^ Makes sense
Yes, Minecraft Bedrock is a separate program on your computer. So you can choose at any time whether you want to play Minecraft Bedrock or Minecraft Java.
"so that I have had it for so long, I could get the Bedrock Edition for free"
Nope, you haven't been able to do that since April 2020. The offer has expired and if you have not redeemed the key by then it will expire.
If you buy it you can of course play both versions.
Oh ok thanks
