I just recorded minecraft with a friend, but in my editing program you do not hear him!
Then I checked the raw recording, and then you hear me nicut, but him?! What's that? I mean, there must be both, if I hear either one or the other?
Have you synonymous set the correct TRACKS, ie that he should record 1 & 2?

In obs, both hands are rising and falling while recording
That does not mean anything. It is also important that both TRACKS are included, the hooks are set.
Then in VLC Player make a right-click in the video & select the 2nd sound track then you hear yourself too
Ok, but in obs track 1 and 2 are recorded according to the settings
As I said before you have to switch the audio track if necessary in the video player.
