Good activities with a 9 year old?

My half brother is currently 9 years old, unfortunately we rarely see each other because I have no good contact with my mother. He likes Ninjago from Playmobil, Minecraft and plays tennis. Does anyone have any idea what good weekend activities I could invite them to?

Br

Go play tennis (depending on weather)

If you live nearby Legoland.

movie theater

La

First is Ninjago from Lego…

Ra

Yes but how do i use that on a 6 hour visit? I don't think he related that much attention span to it

se

Hm. Of course, everything depends on his personality.

Table tennis? Foosball? Billiard is also interesting for him because it looks like an adult world. (usually costs 5 euro an hour)

Maybe he likes to make music and you record a song? Or you build something together. A bird house that you hang in the forest?

If he thinks Ninjago is so great, maybe learn something "YouTube" martial arts ^^. It's always fun at that age…

Or rent a Kettcar. Or catrikes (fast recumbent bikes). Or a bike tour.

Ra

Thank you for the ideas, it is definitely refreshing! What exactly do you mean by "Youtube martial arts"? He doesn't have 'free' internet access yet, so he's not quite as familiar with the YouTube scene yet.

Unfortunately, Kettcart is difficult in a metropolis.

If the weather permits, definitely do something outdoor.

Sport is always good. Otherwise go to the zoo, philosophize, go swimming. Do something educationally valuable. So that he then has the impression that you have given him your full attention and time over time.

Well, I mean that on weekends you watch how you defend yourself or something. Then you practice a little. Is an hour's activity and good for his self-worth if he believes he could theoretically rivet everyone in the playground.

Ra

Yes cool idea, thanks for that.

Tr

Just ask him.

You could go to the climbing hall, or the nearest trampoline park, or to the cinema, or eat pizza together / eat kebab / eat ice cream somewhere. Or you can go to the LaserTag or to the zoo
