Can You Play Minecraft Multiplayer Internet Wisely?

So I often read that many people say that the internet supposedly has a latency via satellite, and I wanted to ask if this is bad for Minecraft multiplayer. Because I would B. Like to play beadwars with other people, PVP, surfival games etc… Do you think that internet via satellite from latency is even worse than 1&1 normal landline internet?

Yes it is much worse. At the moment, satellite internet has a latency of 1-1.2 seconds and more. A normal DSL line normally has a latency of 20 milliseconds or less.
