Cheap CPU?

I currently have an AMD Athlon 200GE and a GTX 760. I play games like Fortnite, League of Legends and Minecraft. I'm looking for a processor and my budget is 60 euro. Can you recommend me and other sites other than Ebay where I can buy processors cheap. I thank you in advance. Stay healthy!

What good is it to replace a 60 euro CPU with another one? Save another 30 euro and get a 1600AF, that would be an absolutely sensible upgrade.

Do both have the AM4 socket? Does that fit?

You have to keep in mind that an Athlon 200GE costs around 40 euro, which means that you don't get anything much better for 60 euro.

A Ryzen 3 1200 (AF 12nm) should work on your mainboard. However, a BIOS update may be necessary.

Yes. The modern Athlons are really only very small Ryzen CPUs.

AMD continues to use the brand name for the cheapest models. But as I said, they are also Zen CPUs. The Athlon 200GE, 220GE, 240GE and Athlon 3000 are among them. Are all dual cores based on Zen with a small graphics unit.

For 60 euro there's nothing much better. If you sell the Athlon and top it off, there's a Ryzen 5 1600AF. That would be a worthwhile upgrade.
