I wanted a PC for around 1,500 euro next year (2021)
to buy. In the following I list the components that I have already decided for sure (and because of the RTX 3070 FE: I won't buy the PC until next year in the 1st / 2nd quarter, hope that the prices will have normalized again by then ):
1.GPU: NVDIA Geforce RTX 370 Founders Edition
2.Case: https://www.corsair.com/de/de/Kategorien/Produkte/Geh%C3%A4use/Geh%C3%A4use-f%C3%BCr-Softwaresteuerung-und-%C3%9Cberwachung/Obsidian-Series-500D-RGB-SE-Premium-Mid-Tower-Geh%C3%A4use/p/CC-9011139-WW
so I still need advice on the following components:
CPU; motherboard; CPU cooler; R.A.M; SSD; power supply
I play games like Minecraft, Rocket League, which are less demanding games. IF possible, it should be a mix of gaming PC and work PC, possibly also a little for video editing.
An "all-rounder" so to speak, on which you can play such games as mentioned above, but also cut videos.
Maybe that's a little asking for 1,500 euro, but let's see.
So much can change until the 2nd quarter of 2021.
Perhaps by then the AMD cards will be 10x more attractive or the RTX 3080 … I wouldn't commit myself yet
It is now very difficult to estimate how prices will change in the next six months.
An RTX3070 system should then be feasible for 1500 euro.
The 1500 euro are totally exaggerated for your PC when you play minecraft and rocket league with it! 1100 euro would be more than enough for that. The rtx 3070 is an up-to-date high-end card. A 1660 would be enough for you.
No, because Minecraft RTX.
Then you just look, when the time comes, what the cheapest card will be that will be sufficient for it
Well, there would be the 3060ti, but I don't know if I'll be playing these rather undemanding games in a year.
Until then there will be a lot more tickets
As if I would replace my GPU every year just because something new comes out. Or do you think that next year, at the time of the planned PC purchase, other GPUs from NVIDIA or AMD will come onto the market, such as the example of NVIDIA maybe RTX 3060 or something. You don't know yet.
Yes, that's exactly what I already know today
Aha.
