Can I play with my Minecraft account from the Switch on the PC?

I don't feel like buying the game again

On the switch you have Minecraft Bedrock and use a microsof account.

Minecraft Java uses the Minecraft account.

So is that not possible?

There are Microsoft accounts and Mojang accounts, which were previously called Minecraft accounts.

Then there's Minecraft Java AND Minecraft Bedrock on the PC. For Bedrock you need the Microsoft account and for Java the Mojang account. Mojang accounts will soon be replaced by Microsoft accounts.

You still have to buy Minecraft every time. There was once a promotion that you could buy Bedrock for free if you already had Java, but it has already ended.

So: If you BUY Minecraft Bedrock on the PC, you can log in with your account from the Switch.

If you BUY Java, you have to create a Mojang account, which will soon be replaced with the one you already have on the Switch.

But you have to buy the game a second time, no matter which version you choose.

I hope, that i helped you. The whole thing is really complicated because unfortunately there are two different Minecraft versions.
