I want to test the Minecraft Bedrock Edition. Everyone always talks about it being completely good, etc. I have had the full version of the Java Edition for several years. Some tell me that the offer no longer exists, that it expired in 2018 (which you can "buy" for free if you have the Java full version), but some also tell me that it still exists.

No, I saw a video 5 months ago where a Youtuber told me that you can find a 25-digit code on the minecraft.net page that you can enter in the Windows Store and then pull the full version of the Windows 10 Edition. He said that you only need the full Java version.

Until a few months ago you could get the Windows 10 Edition for free if you own the Java, but now you can't. You can test Windows 10 Edition on Windows 10 in the Microsoft Store.

Is no longer valid, you can still get the game for a fee in the Microsoft Store.
And yes bedrock is better (in my opinion)
As far as I know, you can no longer do it on instant gaming or mmoga and what other key shops are available you can get the bedrock edition for about 5 euro
I personally think the Java edition is better the bedrock edition has too many restrictions for me
In my opinion, the only advantage of the bedrock edition is the possibility to play crossplay

I also find the Java Edition 100 times better than the Bedrock Edition. The only advantage is really that you can also play zsm with mobile players. But find that a bit unfair if you e.g. Survival Games on PC against a cell phone player or console player. I think that makes a big difference.
