I have placed two turtle eggs on sand in a savannah platau and they are also partly hatched but somehow they do not hatch. Does anyone know why
First they have to be on the water. Then it takes 3-5 minecraft nights for them to hatch. It's best to fence them in so that zombies don't break the eggs.
Do you play in creative mode? If not it is important that it is your home beach! So if you have carefully broken down the eggs and take them with you, they will no longer hatch. When your turtles grow up they will swim back to that beach and lay eggs there.
