However, all of a sudden, as usual, a pop-up chrome page came up which did not close unless you clicked on cancel but in a field in the popup which of course I did not do, so I closed it in the task manager and did a quick test no elements found but I'm still not sure
To high probability is nothing bad, except for an annoying popup.
If you keep a few basics in mind, little can actually happen.
The most important point is: your normal user has no admin rights. A distinction is made between the normal user (standard user without admin rights) with whom one works and surfs, and the admin user, who is only dug out to install.
Second point: watch out where you click, downloads only from regular sites.
