I can't join the realm in Minecraft (Switch)?

I have the problem that I would like to join my girlfriend's realm, but whenever I want to join, it always loads forever and then the error message: "Attempt to join the realm failed. Please try again later."
Before that, it always worked. It's been like this for 5 days and it's slowly getting annoying…
