I have a new PC and want to buy Minecraft there. Which edition would be good for me or would give me more advantages?

The Java Edition or the Windows 10 Edition?

Java. More possibilities with modding and generally a little more resolved by Microsoft

Clearly Java. You can install modpacks and clients with the Java version, which offer you many options. Is much better than Windows version.

Windows 10 if you have friends who play Minecraft on consoles. Java if you don't have one. Java is better though.
