Can you play Minecraft Realms with PC people when you play on Xbox?

A colleague of mine has Windows 10 and Minecraft on it, but also added him, but when I invite him to the game, which strangely seldom works, it always says that the connection to the realm could not be established. I also had the problem with 2 other colleagues, but we solved it by adding me to a friend in Mincecraft, but my colleague on the PC does not have this function. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Did you make sure that you have the same version of MC and that you are really friends over the game day? For example, I was able to play with my buddy even though I was playing from Xbox One and he was playing from his Win10 computer.
