I installed version beta 1.8 in a separate folder, but there's no bin folder. So I need the bin folder so that I can install the version beta 1.9 prerelease 2 in the bin folder of Minecraft beta 1.8. (I find the older Minecraft versions intreressant, because there are some things different there than in today)
I already tried to create a bin folder myself, but it did not work. Could it be that I may need the old Minecraft Launcher for a bin folder to appear?
Press WIN + R and type% appdata%. Then you can go to the .minecraft folder. There's also the bin folder with me.
FrynnJanssen In the. Minecraft folder but the 1.14 is installed, and if I create a separate folder, then there would still be a bin folder to be created. I've also installed Minecraft version 1.5.2 in the .minecraft folder first, and no bin folder was created.
