To change the location of the .Minecraft folder?

I have moved the .minecraft folder but whenever I start the Minecraft Launcher a new .minecraft folder will be created in the folder appdata.

Can somehow prevent this from happening?

How can I change the automatic creation location?

No, you can only change the "Game Directory" for each profile in the launcher. But the .minecraft folder will still be there in the roaming folder
