How much memory to allocate to the Technic Launcher (Minecraft)?

How much RAM should I assign to the Technic launcher in the settings?

I have a NVIDIA GTX 1050ti and 8gb ram, and have given my main directory 4gb, which allows me to achieve up to 700 fps in a single-player world! Therefore, if you have 8gb of RAM, I would give you all 2gb of RAM and 4gb of directory, which you mostly use. At 16gb of RAM I would give 4 to those infrequently used, and 6-8 to the root directory

I have set at 16 GB 12 GB, but I have to actually down to about 10 because it sometimes starts to jerk because I'm content creator

That depends on the Modpack, the Launcher does not care. Is FTB, but I had to adjust for Revelation 8 GB, but it was perfect, more is not necessary, I think.
