I'm m / 14 and will soon be 15 years old. I have been cutting videos for myself and others for over a year and am currently becoming more and more active in the area of trailers / cinematic-making (especially in / for games) and animation.
I can now edit really well with Filmora 9 Pro (I don't use Premiere Pro because I just think Filmora is better…) and I'm also familiar with Minecraft Animations / Cinematics with Blender / Mine-Imator and Replay Mod. I also learned the basics of After Effects.
My question is whether you know companies / Youtubers / networks / individual clients or other job providers or whether such a job is even possible from 15 …
P.S. It doesn't matter whether it's a holiday job, one-time job or permanent job…
Don't make any hope.
Ok xD
I know that there are suitable Facebook groups where such services are posted by others and then people get in touch if interested.
But think it's very cool that you want to earn money with your "hobby" at the age of 14. Keep it up
Cool, now you just have to show your skills so that they can be seen, in small videos, just create a small portfolio with which you can present yourself.
So that's already possible. The problem in Germany is more likely that nobody dares to go there. You definitely need a nice portfolio for the target group you want to address. I have the highest respect for cinematics, etc. But for other industries these are not proper references, so try out other topics as well.
I think big companies are falling out of here. You could find customers in social media.
The important thing is: you have to be really "employed" there as a mini-jobber, because real companies don't have money in their pockets, because you need bills and a business.
That's why I really see the possibility of asking your parents whether they know local entrepreneurs and maybe they need something. Then you can at least regulate the money privately without legal regulations and bookkeeping.
