Yesterday I wanted to download a shader and first downloaded JAVA and optifine afterwards. When I downloaded the shader I had to open the shader with Java, but that's exactly where the problem is when I press Install because it doesn't work and I can't get any further 🤷🏻♀️ Can someone help me?
If you download a shader you will get a ZIP file that you simply have to drag into the Minecraft shader folder, you don't have to do more there
Yes, with me the file is always packed in spite of Java and optifine
You don't have to unzip it either
Simply drag the zip file into the shader folder
And how do I make it into a zip file if it is packed directly? 😅
Now I don't understand anything anymore try to rename the file on (what you want) .zip
Of course it is packed is also ne zip just pack it in the shaderpacks folder
