Moin, iwi want to try out the new ray tracing at Minecraft, and you have to download it from the Microsoft store, but I can say that I bought Minecraft even though I had it. Back then I bought it on the Minecraft site. Do I have to link the accounts to iwi or something?

Un

The Java version and the version with RTX are different. YOU have to buy the Win10 edition extra, i.e. The version with RTX

Go to minecraft.net and download it if you bought it

games since 2009

Di

No you don't have to…

Un

Yes, the action with the free Win 10 has ended, probably due to ray tracing

Gu

Doesn't he have if he had the Win10 version of it before?

Di

Lol really now? Ok, sry I didn't know

Un

This action behind was recently ended, which is why he can no longer get it

Un

I think that's the way it was, so I was told by another user

This is wrong, you don't have to buy the win10 version again if you already have the java

Un

I heard that this action has recently ended, most likely because of the raytracing release

Ad

Aha, if you got the java version beforehand, you would still have to get win 10 edition for free

Un

You can no longer get the Win10 edition, even if you bought MC before October 18, 2018. Since it was removed that you get the Win10 edition when you buy a new one. Now everything has been removed

Ad

I was able to get it the day before yesterday and I had the java version

Un

Achso, another user had said, nope, no longer works

Di

I found the article here:
https://windowsarea.de/2020/01/minecraft-fuer-windows-10-aktuell-wieder-kostenlos-zu-haben/

It is still relatively new

It is not with me. But I haven't had Minecraft for long. My little brother now has my old account. I had already activated that. That's why I can't look there. It doesn't seem to work on my new account.
