I'm pretty much a zero when it comes to current technology and media progress. I have e.g. An LCD TV and do not receive any HD channels. The TV runs through my router and apparently I need an external TV box to receive HD. Called my internet service provider who just told me this. I should look for offers on the internet.
I have a PS4 for my sons, the Minecraft CD recently stopped working. I bought a new one last Tuesday thinking at first that the CD was damaged. The new one also gets stuck when loading.
I have a smartphone and I think I use an eighth of what it could.
I have questions about questions and no one in my circle of friends who really knows about it.
When could I hire something like that? Who do I contact to have someone come to me and set up, install and explain such things to me?
Or do you have another tip?
HD channels are chargeable if they are only received via SAT / DVB + T
Public broadcasters ARD, ZDF are free
Dust often gets stuck with optical drives
Hama CD cleaning disc (for removing dirt from CD drives) Laser cleaning CD
everything else can be learned. My uncle bought his first computer when he was 72. Has dealt intensively with it and is great at it
So some have the problem with Minecraft. It's not because of the CD. Simply delete the game once and reinstall it and it should work again. At least it was like that with me.
Thanks for your quick and helpful answer.
I've just tried it and it works!
One more question… My TV is on my internet! HD should work there, or not?
Do you then only watch media libraries or Netflix?
And what kind of internet connection do you use? DSL, cable or fiber optics?
To be honest, I have no idea, so about usefulness I don't watch Netflix.
When installing the TVs, I entered my router's Wi-Fi password.
Ok and do you now have TV via internet or cable or satellite?
