I play Minecraft again (with Revelation Modpack) and have the old problem.
Yesterday it was still running smoothly with 60 FPS and today I would have to raise the FPS to 120 so that it runs reasonably smoothly. The graphics card is 20% full and I have allocated 8 GB RAM.
What can you do there? Allocate more RAM?
Here is the system:
Windows 10 Pro
Ryzen 5 3600X @ 4.2 GHz
32 GB DDR4 3200
Geforce GTX 1070
Can you describe your problem again exactly?
Minecraft says I have a constant 60 FPS, but it feels like 10 or 15 FPS when I play. If I lure the FPS to 120 it works reasonably and to 180 FPS I don't notice anything anymore. My monitor has only 60 Hz, so I thought it was the frame times, I had asked here before, someone said that.
If I lure the FPS to 180, the graphics card is about 40-50% full, if that says anything.
Achso…: It is not so extreme with movements, only with camera pans.
Ok, I don't have the same problem in extreme Fortnite. Is strange. You could just set the FPS to unlimited, I do, even though I have a 144hz monitor. Then I think you shouldn't notice anything anymore.
I'm concerned with consumption, I'm a pensioner and I have a bad electricity bill. 60 FPS is enough for me, but the graphics card draws about 3 times the current at 180 FPS, that was the idea, it doesn't have to be.
Right. At 14 I don't have to worry so much.
