Hi as already described above, I have extreme FPS fluctuations in all games from 15-300 FPS everything is possible and they never remain even remotely constant.
Currently I play a lot of Garry's mod and Minecraft (vanilla)
CPU: Intel i5 6400
GPU: HP GTX 960 (2GB)
RAM: 8 GB DDR3 (don't know the brand will probably be a small Chinese one)
With my hardware playing the games shouldn't be a problem, what bothers are the extreme fluctuations and every now and then the picture stops completely.
In Minecraft I even have it when I just stand around and do nothing.
I play with the resolution 1680 X 1050 (not even Full HD)
Malware of any kind is not on my PC because I have Malwarebytes scanned on a regular basis
Energy options are on top performance and drivers are all up-to-date (I recently reinstalled them with a tool)
I'm completely at a loss
Sounds like a problem with the temperature to me.
Get more RAM. Reinstall graphics driver and, if necessary, Windows.
If it still doesn't work, I'm at a loss.
I think it could be due to the RAM or I'm not even sure about the internet when the games are online, so play with the internet
I think that wouldn't be so extreme. Then it would be around 100 instead of 300 FPS, but not 15.
My board doesn't pack more RAM because it is a run-of-the-mill board from Hp (was pretty stupid 5 years ago and bought me a complete pc)
8 GB is still enough for the games and is not even used to 50% of the time
Also recently reopened Windows because I thought it might solve the problem
As I said, I have completely reinstalled the graphics driver
I have problems local (have no friends lul)
Then on the RAM and if the game takes a long time on the hard drive, so then the ne hdl could then swap into ne ssd
There are 8 GB bars, but 2 of them will fit?
Have you ever checked the temperatures (even if it probably won't be)? Games installed on an SSD instead of an HDD?
The games load all very quickly and have an SSHD (Hybrid hard drive). As I said, there are only FPS fluctuations. Loading times are always short
I have a total of 2 RAM slots but more like 8GB can't be used with my board because it then starts beeping instead of booting my computer
My games are on an SSHD (hybrid hard drive) and the loading times are always very short
Well, if the thermal pad on the graphics card crumbles completely, or the CPU unfortunately has a core that unfortunately has not received a WLP, then that can drive performance hard on the knees due to termal throttle.
Then I would change the RAM or have a look in the task manager if 8 GB RAM were recognized. Sometimes I had broken RAM and sometimes I had it
120 fps and then times 10 or so so look if the RAM is not broken and take it out and clean it very carefully with an old toothbrush or something and then put it back in if that doesn't work buy new RAM and do it you can then get it in at Amazon and then see if it's because if not you can send it away because of Amazon's 14-day return period, I also did it once if the things are still under guarantee I would go there or call and wish you the best of luck
The CPU and GPU stayed constantly below 50 C °
Where does the CPU measure the temperature? My socket is measured as the CPU temperature, which then has 50 degrees, but the cores sometimes jump over 80. This can be telling if the board does not measure in the right place or if you use the wrong tool to calculate. I can recommend the MSI afterburner, which has a "nice" monitor that can really resolve a lot.
And temperatures?
My 8GB RAM is recognized and I can use it completely.
Then I would get a new one
I use the rivatunersatistic server from MSI afterburner, because I can display all important data such as temperature fps etc.
Uff to buy the new DDR 3 ram is, in my opinion, really wasted money. I've wanted to buy a completely new PC for a long time, but the current market makes it very bad
So the CPU is constantly below 50 degrees and the GPU is a maximum of 70 degrees
So you don't necessarily have to have a graphics card now because you can wait something so today I saw a good b450 mainboard for 100 euro for the amd processor that would be hollow but there's also a cheap version e.g. From rocking because I saw one for 60 euro but as they say so much money so much music so I would get it for 100 and then from corsair 16 gave RAM or for the first 8gb but got myself 16 directly and got an amd Ryzen 5 2600 I'm completely satisfied myself but can still do it wait or have a look there's something.
Ryzen 5 2600 wasn't a good idea, the ryzen 3 3300 is a lot better for gaming, has the Zen 2 architecture instead of zen + and costs even less on some sites.
But since everything is at least twice as expensive at the moment, buying a new one is not worthwhile. Used is even less worthwhile
But I got the ryzen 5 2600 very cheaply and got something from where it wasn't that expensive, got it for about 100 euro and yes it is also original.
I've seen a good processor used for a relatively good price but graphics cards are really overpriced
Used goods are generally not recommended because you never know what the vorbesirzer used them for and you have to expect that they will break after 2 days. Then you stand there with no money and no goods 🤷♂️
I'd rather buy a new one. Just have to wait a long time because there's hardly anything and only overpriced
I didn't buy used myself either
just try the game openly and otherwise nothing can work
I have, yes, I only have one monitor, so it is not worthwhile for me to have anything running in the background
Ok look to see if the graphics card is selected and not that of the processor
It is, otherwise I wouldn't be able to play on 1680x1050
