Question about MC mods?

Moin I have a little problem because I want to play MC with mods (PC) and I already made an extra game version in the launcher after that I downloaded Minecraft Forge because you should press a file named install client now I have Opened the Minecraft forge file in Winrar, but found nothing with the name install client.

You must of course open the .jar file with JAVA and not with WINRAR.

This is an installer, not a folder.

You can download installer directly from the Forge website. These are then .jar files which are executed with Java. Then the window opens where you can choose whether you want to install client or server

Go to Settings → "Select standard apps by file type" → Select .jar "Java (TM) Platform SE binary". Then try again
