Minecraft Server is lagging despite having enough RAM?

I have a Minecraft server. (Normal server from minecraft.net and not just any host)

The server is often lagging when you hit animals or monsters in the normal version without mods or plugins.

But when I play larger modpacks or luckyblock mods (where sometimes 30 mobs spawn at once) there are no problems and only rarely lags.

I give my server 7 GB of Ram and MC 4 GB. That is always enough because my ram is only used to about 60-70%. But when I play the 1.16.5 Vanilla it lags when you hit entities.

Can anyone help or had the same problem?

Lo

Maybe the CPU? Or the internet?

St

Where is the server running?

Lo

Think localhost

What does your CPU look like? You need pretty good single core performance for Minecraft (server).

so it's best to have a high beat.

Also try to use the papermc server instead of the Microsoft Mojang server!

Yes localhost

Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core Processor, 3400 MHz, 6 core (s), 12 logical processor (s)

Motherboard: B450M Pro4

RAM: 16 GB

GPU: Radeon RX 570 8GB

Internet: 100K line with LAN cable, so everything arrives.

Cpu was never used over 80%, but I never really looked at it, only at the RAM.

I also used Spigot and it was similar to Mojang, so no difference.

You write, you give your server…

Will it be virtualized? Or does it run directly on Windows while you play on the side? Then by double-clicking or in the CMD?
