Got Minecraft Water Thing Away?

Skimming off water does not help T ^ T

How so? Where there's sand, there can be no water. Make a mound of sand out of it, and then remove it again.

Collect with a bucket (the source block, not the running water!)
Build it over completely with any block (earth, sand, etc.) and tear it down again
soak up with a sponge

I'm not familiar with commands…
