The game content is very good, logically I would always prefer the latest version because it offers the most content. However, if you only look at the changes, there's not much. Bees, honey blocks, foxes, a new biome - this is really rather disappointing in terms of content.

The update 1.15 also never wanted to deliver a lot of content, but to fix many problems of the previous versions. Did it do it? Yes and no… Bugs in the game have been fixed, and the performance has also improved on the server and client side, but not enough for my taste. The game has been struggling with major performance problems since 1.13, which makes servers on these versions unattractive and less FPS for clients. As I said, these have gotten better, but a lot still needs to be done.

And of course there are many people (also here in the comments) who criticize the combat system. In the meantime, however, this has been changed for 5 years and in my opinion you should just get used to the new one, I'm moderately satisfied with it, but consider it better than it was in 1.8.

All in all it is a good update, but compared to the other updates it delivers little content and could have solved a few more problems, but I still think the update was successful.
