Show Minecraft speed with Elytra?

I wanted to ask if there's a resource pack / command block or plugin where the speed is displayed in km / h, m / s or blocks per second. Can also be in English like mph or feet per second. Knot works too

And now?

There's the speed

Pe

I don't know where you see the speed

Like mph or feet per second. Knot works too

Knots are nautical miles per hour.

And if the coordinates are displayed, and only one of them changes while running, then measure the time of one second and compare the difference in coordinates. This gives you the speed in meters per second. It's actually not that complicated.

But if two or all three coordinates change at the same time, then you have to calculate it vectorially in order to determine the distance covered in the corresponding time.

Either way: without a little math it will be difficult because Minecraft doesn't provide such a display. And after what time should you leave? A Minecraft day only lasts 20 minutes, which would be 24 hours in real life. If you count the 24 hours down to 20 minutes, then one second in Minecraft would be about 72 seconds in real life. The character would be rather lame, because if he ran 4 m / s in Minecraft, which corresponds to 14.4 km / h, this would mean in real life that he would need 72 seconds for 4 meters, straight times to 0.055 … M / s, or 0.2 km / h and that when the character is running.

Thanks for the answer, but it is a bit difficult to solve a calculation every second. I want to create a kind of flight system with an Elytra on my server, where I should buy a flight license. For this flight license, some tests should be solved, including the speed at which you should approach the runway. This speed should then also be achieved in practice, for which these people would then have the ad

(Sorry for the late reply)

No problem. Because of my work, I don't get around to answering comments straight away every day.

to solve a math every second

Why every second? You only need to determine this for each state of motion. It is a program with fixed values for each type of movement. In addition, you don't even really need to measure it, for example, with regard to the speed of a lorry, you can read about it at https://minecraft.fandom.com/de/wiki/Antriebsschiene#Optimale_Ausnutzung.

Somehow I don't understand why you should be able to fly in Minecraft. If you want to "fly", you can do this very easily in creative mode and you don't need a flight license. The speed is then, similar to movements on open terrain, corresponding to running or https://minecraft.fandom.com/de/wiki/Sprinten.

If your "airplane" moves with the help of a Redstone clock, and I have no idea how you want it to take off and land, then its speed depends on the clock speed of this Redstone clock anyway.

I thought of creating a "role play project" flies for a Minecraft server. In this one should fly with an Elytra from one self-made runway to the next, which other players can then operate. The one about the flight license was just a sideline. An Elytra doesn't have a steady speed, so I wanted to add the indicator to the game. Now you can say that you should just fly evenly and then not have to calculate as much, but this is relatively difficult to control, even for newer players and this is also not the point of the "Role Play project. If it's a role play If you want to become a project you can of course also say that all players should just fly normally without Elytra. I thought about putting a real airplane mod on it, but the server shouldn't be a mod server. "

Okay, I just can't figure out how to program airplanes in combined motion sequences. Because to take off they would first have to accelerate, then take off and then sink for the final approach and finally brake. I imagine this to be pretty complex in Minecraft. This is certainly not enough with simple red tone circuits.

Is worthy of improvement xD
