4NetPlayers FTP error?

My friend has a Minecraft 4NetPlayers server for which he gave me FTP access so that I can load plugins on it. However, when I connect via Filezilla it says that the server does not support a secure connection, but the connection is established anyway. But then there's only one file on the server:

USE_SAFE_FTP.txt

What should I do?

I don't think so, you might need a different port…
