I've had a Minecraft server running on my Raspberry Pi for a long time and use ssh and lm sensors to check the temperature of system.
Now my question is whether you can somehow have a command via plugins or something similar that shows the Linux temperature.
I had in mind to write a plugin that writes the value of lm-sensors to a variable and the variable can be used as a command. However, I have no idea whether that is possible.
I do not recommend you to host a minecraft server on a Raspberry Pi, it is much too cumbersome to rent one. I mean you want to run the RaspberryPi and grad 24/7 right? As a long-time RaspberryPi user, I can recommend it to you in the long run.
It doesn't run 24/7 but why not have a server on a Raspberry Pi
It depends on which generation you have
Raspberry Pi 4 8gb
Do you have discord? Then we can keep looking
It is definitely possible.
You can write a plugin and use this command
How the plugin then gets the data is the next question.
There are definitely Linux commands for the terminal that you can start with Java as a process and thus access the information, that is the easiest, so I would give it a try first!
Do you have discord then I can probably help you more
Yes I have
