Hey guys I would like to learn to program Minecraft plugins. I have tried it twice with YT but most of the time you just copy it off and get thrown directly with technical terms. So you don't learn anything and it's not really fun.
But I wanted to ask the programming community here if you know a tutorial series with which you can learn this properly.
That actually explains it quite well.
The best thing to do is to learn Java first, because this is the only way you understand what you are doing and can work independently. There's a lot of learning material for Java in every imaginable form.
If you can do Java then it is only a very small step to Bukkit plugins.
First learn the basics of Java
learn with the tutorials from BiVieh (Link by Tom23759)
only pummel afterwards if you don't like the tutorials from BiVieh
