Is that how the lessons are canceled?

So my class is "screaming" today. Today we have 3 hours of video conference in total. We have now all gathered over Discord and we're all playing Minecraft on one (gaming) PC. If no one or a maximum of 3 people are inside, this is canceled and you don't get 6 for it.

Even if it is only online lessons, it applies like a normal lesson.

Yeah, it has a simple rating too, but you just have to chat and if you have internet problems it shouldn't be rated negatively.

Yes, but attendance is compulsory. So no matter if you have internet problems or something, you have to be there… In addition, the teacher can see whether you have internet problems and you should take part orally. The teachers are allowed to give oral grades. So no matter if you're there or not, a 6 is probably already recovered. Minecraft is awesome but anyway, you have time for that when different

Then the lessons will just be repeated, and the school management and your parents will be informed if everyone is not there, and then there will certainly be a lot of trouble. In addition, the necessary backing from the school management will be there to give you all a 6.

If this is how the future looks, I see black for us. Well then you don't have to complain later if you only get underpaid jobs.

Just because you don't feel like it doesn't excuse staying away. If you are dissatisfied, then maybe you could have addressed this together with the teacher and made suggestions for improvement yourself.

Correct, but only the people who were present do not get a bad rating.

It is a rumor that a lesson is canceled when only two / three students are present. The majority of my basic German course at the time had to experience that painfully when there were only three people there. Our German teacher then taught us for half an hour and then we were allowed to go home, the rest of the course then got two unexcused absenteeism for their absence that afternoon, unless they were able to present a medical certificate.

In this respect: The teacher CAN skip the lesson. But he doesn't HAVE to and he is also free to decide what to do with the students who weren't there.

In this sense: You have to attend this video conference and if you do not log in, then the hours are considered to be missed without excuse. There's nothing with 'fail'. If, in your common wisdom, for some adolescent mood, you decide not to attend these hours on your own initiative, then you have to expect the consequences.

Er

Depends on the school and the teacher. For me it is like that, if you are missing an innocent one, you don't get bad grades and absent hours (which you are not allowed to give because of Corona and because you are not allowed to go to school). If the grades are not important to you, you can't do anything all the time.
