I plan to start a Minecraft server that should also be successful and popular (of course it's a tough road, but back to the question). How can I do that? Do you have to have a lot of coding if you want to have an independent server, or is that different? I plan to create a server for roleplay. Everything should largely be programmed by yourself so that the players have a good experience. Can someone explain to me how I do this? So to create a server by coding and programming? With different maps, jobs, vehicles, etc.
It's not that difficult to create a Minecraft server.
But since you want to program EVERYTHING yourself, it is already "complicated" if you can't. You certainly can't program, can you?
Then get a programmer. Hire him.
How you can do all of this yourself, learn to code yourself.
Either: You download all the plugins and set them up yourself
Or: You teach yourself Java and program it yourself.
Or: You hire a dev.
I don't want to spoil your dream for you, but you have to be realistic. The chances that your server will have active players at all is almost zero.
In fact, I already have a server team.
Well, that's great. If one of them has knowledge of Java, that's twice as good.
It is best to advertise on sites like reddit or on sites where you can search for servers
