Today I navigated through the forum of a Minecraft server (I don't want to mention the name) on which I play regularly. Then I found a suggestion from the server owner that will most likely be implemented. Namely to revise the licenses for a chest shop system. Up until now you could buy shops with in-game currency. But he intends to tie the licenses firmly to the ranks. (Here is a screenshot, I blacked out the usernames.):
The top post is the owner's suggestion, below you can see how another player has added something. I've added the prices of the ranks.
To the best of my knowledge, this idea is not EULA compliant as it is an advantage for the players who buy the ranks. What do you think?
Greeting,

Horst already has a relatively large server, Mojang also likes to look over it. So I would say that everything is Eula compliant there. If it weren't for that, the server would no longer exist.
Which paragraph speaks against it?
The terms and conditions are not numbered. But here:
General Terms and Conditions → Commercial Usage Guidelines:
"If, for example, individual players or groups of players do better than others at the same skill level and time and under the same circumstances, then there's such an advantage."
Your quote doesn't say it's forbidden. Furthermore, the source of your quote is missing
The sentence in front of it says that competitive advantages are prohibited. See source.
The source is right above it, but ok, then stop again 🤦🏻♂️:
General Terms and Conditions → Commercial Usage Guidelines → Server and Hosting
So either you see something that I don't see. Or you didn't post a source.
Source is e.g. A link. Or a book with an ISBN number.
"General Terms and Conditions → Commercial Usage Guidelines → Server and Hosting"
That is not a source.
Source is e.g. A link.
You will surely manage to enter "Minecraft Terms and Conditions" or "Minecraft EULA" - which is what this is about, see question title - on Google. Is that really asking too much? 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂

Eieiei. And I always thought I was lazy. But there are still people who top the easy. ^^
So you have a question and I have to find your sources?
I think you misunderstood something here. But you made it that I don't feel like helping you anymore.
Do you already realize that I'm not the questioner?
And no, the source is in the question title, you don't have to look for it yourself. I quote:
"Minecraft" "EULA".
And I doubt you could have helped at all, because apparently you don't even know what terms and conditions are.
How can it be that at level 31 you still haven't checked that the name of the questioner is marked orange? Don't you even notice?
The EULA under Commercial Usage Guidelines → Server and Hosting says the following:
"If, for example, individual players or groups of players do better than others at the same skill level and time and under the same circumstances, then there's such an advantage."
So not allowed.
