I plan to create a Minecraft server on a Linux Debian 10 Vserver and wanted to ask how I can ensure that the server gets an ip such as Griefergames.net, Hypixel.net, GommeHD, etc.
and how I can transfer this ip to another Linux Vserver if the other's contract is terminated
When you buy a domain, you can redirect it to the numbers IP from your Minecraft server. That goes e.g. With Cloudfllare
Your IP will not be able to take with you, you get it from your vserver provider for your server and it has explicitly managed it.
if you can later assign the new IP of your other VServer to the domain only via domain name.
Pay ip? Redirect? Uh, so the provider who provides the VServer has a fixed contingent of IPs, buy a new VServer, usually with another provider he can only give the domain the new IP, what is cloudflare supposed to do there?
Subdomains etc.
