Does it matter if my Minecraft server owns an .at or .de domain?

Since I'm Austrian I would like to have one. At domain at my Minecraft server, however, I have the fear that Germans synonymous rather servers with a .de domain choose. In addition, I get at Mc-Host24 no .de domain without German address. Can anybody help me further?

In general, I think that should not make a difference. Otherwise, just take a .eu domain.

For .de domains it is necessary to have a local presence. Therefore, it is not possible without a German address.

For a .de domain you need a German residence for the Owner-C or Admin-C entry. A good domain registrar (not MC-Host24) simply enters their own address from where possible messages are forwarded to the owner.
