I have a small Minecraft server where I play with friends from time to time. I've never done so much as a mincraft script and server is running. From normal I have quite a clue.
My problem is that I can do everything as an operator… It's clear. But not my friends. Since I do not want to give everyone just Op rights, I wonder if there's such a subgroup, or team, etc., where you can insert that they have access to boxes, etc… I have already looked bissl bissl but found nothing smart.
If there's such a group / attitude please tell me how.

You would have to install a plugin on your server which can manage rights. A very common one is "PermissionsEx".
This will allow you to create the groups you want and assign them to your teammates. Then you can set the rights individually for each one.
Unfortunately, this is a lot of work and if you are not careful, you can quickly assign rights that you do not want to forgive. So take care

To install mods a Vanilla server is not enough. There must be the same whole mod-loader around it. Minecraft Bukkit server eg. Are modish. The mod you are looking for is called "PermissionsEx". Unfortunately, I do not know how up-to-date this is. I have not had a server for ages. The whole thing will then be much more complex to administer.
Much more I wonder why your friends can't open some boxes. Can it be that they are in the spawn area? If not, were the boxes set up by you while you were operating? Then set it up again while you are not an OP.
