I would say that you delete the old world data (just move them into a new folder to be on the safe side), and move the backup data into the folder instead.
So the world of saves, and the backup from backups, with identical names.
but i didn't test it, the data only match each other, so without guarantee.
My backup file is a zib file, how should I do that? So that I have a folder
Open backups, then the zip-compressed one, then the following folder, then you mark everything and do ctrl + C, and then you use the right mouse button in the other folder and do paste.
I put the folder out in the zib file and then put it in saves, deleted the zib folder.
Now I have everything again and the landscape is like it was in the old days.
