Minecraft PC Account Change Password?

I bought a Minecraft account at that time and gave the data to my former friend and changed my password. Is he logged out now and can't use it anymore?

As far as I know you will always be logged out if the password is changed.

I recently resetted my password on the mojang page for the same reason as you did, but apparently he will not be logged out of the launcher as he could still play minecraft with my account.
