Is Minecraft PE good?

I wanted to ask a few things about the mobile version of Minecraft.

Because I would plan to buy the Pocket Edition for 8 euro instead of a PC because it is cheaper and I would like to play it outside, on the plane, for example😅.

First of all: How does PE differ from the PC apart from the controller? If PE has any extra features or vice versa, some have even been removed. Can I still buy skins or texture packs?

Second: Can you play with PE with other players on the PC or console version and enter their servers, or you mean?

Third: After you have already set up a few worlds halfway, how much memory does this take up on your cell phone? I have a 64GB part, 23 of which are occupied. Can it still take this game?

Fourth: Do I get it right that you log in there with the Microsoft account, through the Play Store you install this game (after the purchase) on the new Android and then finally after you have registered your Microsoft account, you have your worlds can charge from one cell phone to another,

So that in the end you only have to pay once and the worlds are always saved in the Acc?

Fifth😂: Do I always have to have Wi-Fi to play, or can I also play it in flight mode, for example?

Many thanks in advance to everyone who takes the time to answer these questions Fragen. I'm new to Minecraft and have never played the original. Still have guides and so on. I'm sorry there were many, but I hope it doesn't matter.

I don't think the PE version is particularly worth it.

It is very difficult to play with mods / plug-ins
I don't think you can't download a texture pack
You can't play with consoles / PC players
But you don't need Wi-Fi, so you can easily play in flight mode

Ok, of course disappointed but thank you.

Huhu

So I can say one thing for sure.

No you can only play with the Pe version with other games that also have Pe, so not with PC players.

Incidentally, this doesn't take up much storage space either. I never came up with a Gb Pro Welt and they are endless.

There are also many skins and texture packages. There's something for everyone. But beware! They don't work for every cell phone.

Ba

No. The PE is not good compared to the Java Edition. Nevertheless, it is significantly better than before.

1 .: Yes, they differ. The Pocket Edition has a simplified crafting system and is overall slimmer than the full version. So you are missing features, blocks and biomes.

To 2 .: No, you can't cross-play.

3 .: The worlds in PE are unlimited, but do not consume too much

4 .: I don't know.

To 5 .: Should also go in flight mode.

Here you can read a lot https://minecraft-de.gamepedia.com/...et_Edition

Ba

Of course you can download texture packages ^^ You just have to see if they can also be used on mobile phones.

Ed

Can you get the appropriate quality for just 8 euro?

Li

I play PE, it's worth 7.99 euro

Crossplay on Java is not possible, however with Ps4, Switch, other cell phones, there are servers and much more texture packs than in Java, as well as skins, there are not really more features in Java, there are no new biomes, mobs or in Java other, singleplayer you don't need Wi-Fi either, so flight mode is possible, you need a Microsoft account for crossplay and server, not for singleplayer, for PE there are also apps etc. Where you can download maps / TP's / skins etc. If you can we can play Minecraft together.

Li

To the Speicjerplatz, it does not cost very much, too many TP's and especially mods or addons can be problematic in masses, but that is not that much either

St

Yes, you can also play with Xbox, Windows 10 Edition and PS4

Ed

Yes, if so, I would only load an addon.

Ed

Oh and as far as the Microsoft account is concerned, don't you need to save the worlds under your name so that you can enter the acc on your new cell phone and continue playing with your old worlds? 🤨.
So another question, after I have the game on the new cell phone, after getting it from the Play Store, do I have to make new worlds again, or can they be transferred somehow? That would be the most important thing by far😂.

Li

The worlds should be transferable via files, but it should work, you don't need a Microsoft account either, but I recommend it anyway

Sa

You can play with the current pe version with pc and console

The Pocket Edition is a "sub version" of Bedrockediton, which has a few differences to the Java edition (there are 2 versions). With texture packs and skins it is a bit more complicated but possible.
If your friends are playing the Bedrock version on the PC instead of the Java version, it is probably possible. Personally, I'm not sure because I only played PE as a child and now play in Java on a PC. Minecraft on the console is always bedrock too.
It already takes up a lot of space. But for such a big game, it's actually OK in relation. Unfortunately, I don't know exactly how much storage space.
You can also log in on another cell phone or tablet, but the worlds only save on the respective device (is exactly the same on the computer).
Minecraft, no matter which version or which device, can always be played offline. Then, of course, not on a server or with friends.

Yes, the PE is already good, I think. At least as a mobile game. Nothing for professionals, of course.

Ed

So I CAN'T transfer my worlds at all?

Ed

Ok, if that doesn't work internally in the game itself, are there any other methods that you can at least use the internet?

Gu

As a MPCE regular I can clarify you CAN play with other bedrock players. There are apps that help you EASILY download mods, like addons for MPCE. You can also play without wifi. While I think java is better MPCE is still very good
